Jamie Izumi

Jamie is the owner and founder of Tora Tattoo, established in 1994. His journey into the world of tattoos began in 1981, long before opening a public studio, when he was introduced to the tattoo industry and started exploring this fascinating art form. After years of dedication, Jamie gained recognition for his work, winning awards starting in 1993 at the Am-Jam Tattoo Convention in New York State. These accolades marked the beginning of his successful career in tattooing.

Over the years, through earning numerous awards and building friendships with fellow artists and industry colleagues, Jamie has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience. Despite his extensive background, he remains committed to growth and continuous learning to ensure he can provide the best for his clients.

His philosophy has always emphasized versatility across all tattoo styles from the very beginning. Jamie is dedicated to constantly improving his craft, pushing himself to get better every day—until the very end.
